Her pose is quite beautiful, sexy and yet very grounded in reality. As we look into her eyes, it seems as though we're looking into a human being with emotions rather than dark dots with a splash of light. The smile on her face appears genuine and playful and there is a steamy atmosphere that finds its way into her gesture. You gave her a really expressive body with the hand reaching to her face and curled feet, the fetal position also is a nice touch. There is a cute touch of eroticism but nothing too graphic or un-classy which would have ruined (for me anyway) the mood of the picture. And finally, last but not least, the colours are a truly welcome addition and the palette used here fits nicely with the overall character and background. What's most stunning about this piece is the character's face. It draws me to look at her, and her pose strikes as real as it can get with that slightly heigthened reality. When I saw it for the first time, a second was all I needed to know that the person who drew her could only be an artist of human expressions, and the size of the canvas is interesting to go with the desired "intimacy" of the piece. The whole thing isn't the most original thing in the world, but it does remind me of the old classics such as Bunuel's "Belle de Jour" or Goddard's "Le Mépris", both amazing films in their own rights, so I'd say it's quite original in its portrayal of a woman posing as a "wish you were here" expression (in my opinion, of course).
All in all, it's a wonderful artwork of "epic-intimacy" and preserving its classiness with such a position is no easy task... You have all my admiration and it keeps inspiring me to do better in return
